Specialist foundation works for a private investor

In Pęcice near Warsaw, we carried out deep foundation works for a residential building on behalf of a private investor.

The ground conditions at the development site did not allow us to construct shallow foundation for the building. At a depth of approximately 3-4 metres below the bottom of the designed foundation slab, there were layers of soil with low bearing capacity – non-construction fill and aggradate mud.

In order to safely transfer loads from the building to the deeper bearing strata, a deep foundation on CFA piles was designed.

As part of the project, we installed 59 CFA piles with the following parameters:
– diameter of 400 mm,
– length of 10 m,
– a total of 590 running metres of piles.

For the work, we used our tried-and-tested Comacchio MC-22 drilling rig, which has been part of Tergon’s machinery fleet for several years.

The project was carried out efficiently, in accordance with the agreed technical specifications. Thanks to our team’s adequate preparation and experience, we completed the work quickly and without any disturbances.

We carry out specialist geotechnical works for both large-scale infrastructure projects and private investors. Regardless of the scale of the project, our top priorities remain safety, the appropriate choice of technology, and the efficient execution of the work in accordance with the design.
