A new bridge located over the Giżycko Canal (DK 59).

Tergon is working on the construction of a new bridge located over the Giżycko Canal on national road number 59 (DK 59).

We are carrying out a task that the residents of Giżycko have been waiting for for many years. They will gain a new dual carriageway ring road around the town and wider access roads which are particularly important during the busy holiday season. The project requires precise logistics on our part, including dividing the task into several technological stages, mainly due to the need to maintain continuous traffic flow on this important section of the national road.

🏗️Scope of our work:
◽we are installing 800 mm diameter CFA piles of variable length as deep foundation for bridge abutments,
◽we are constructing over 1,180 FDP displacement columns with a total length of over 7,700 running metres to reinforce the ground under the road embankments on the access section to the bridge.
